Big News! My art was selected to be a part of the Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition at
@msichicago! The Black Creativity program — now in its 55th year — honors the achievements of Black creatives and innovators, while championing opportunities for today’s youth to explore STE(A)M in service of a more equitable future rooted in community, creativity and discovery.
The Art Exhibition is the longest continuously running exhibit of Black art. The
exhibition highlights Black artists for thousands of Museum visitors, and I am so thrilled to
be included. As I research more about AI, surveillance systems, and tech systems at large, I realize the importance of datasets and representation in datasets. These works explore the hyper/in visibility of POC in tech systems.
You can go see my works from Jan. 20 to April 27.
